1. Lemon

Ch 2 with yellow or start with a magic ring.

1. 6 sc into the 1st ch or into the magic ring, 1 sl into the 1st sc (= 6 sc)

2. 2 sc in every 2nd sc (= 9 sc)

3. 9 sc

4. 2 sc in every 3rd sc (= 12 sc)

5. 2 sc in every 2nd sc (= 18 sc)

6. 6 x (1 sc, 2 sc into the next sc, 1 sc) (= 24 sc)

7. 2 sc in every 4th sc (= 30 sc)

8. 6 x (2 sc, 2 sc into the next sc, 2 sc) (= 36 sc)

9. 2 sc in every 6th sc (= 42 sc)

10. 2 sc in every 14th sc (= 45 sc)

11. 2 sc in every 15th sc (= 48 sc)

12. - 24. 48 sc

25. Sc every 15th and 16th st together (= 45 sc)

26. Sc every 14th and 15th st together (= 42 sc)

27. Sc every 6th and 7th st together (= 36 sc)

Attach the safety eyes between rounds 13 and 14, and between rounds 21 and 22. Make sure they are at the same position.

29. Sc every 4th and 5th st together (= 24 sc)

30. 6 x (1 sc, sc 2 st together, 1 sc) (= 18 sc)

31. Sc every 2nd and 3rd st together (= 12 sc)

Stuff the lemon.

32. Sc every 3rd and 4th st together (= 9 sc)

34. Sc every 2nd and 3rd st together (= 6 sc)

End with 1 sl, cut off and leave a long yarn end hanging. Sew the chain firmly onto the end of the lemon. Fasten off and weave in the end.

Embroider with pink blushes beneath the eyes and with green a mouth, use the picture as a guide.
2. Leaves

Ch 8 with green. Continue into the 2nd ch from the needle: 1 sl, 1 sl, 1 sc, 1 hdc, 1 dc, 1 dc, 3 sc into the next ch. Continue crocheting back along the other side of the ch: 1 dc, 1 dc, 1 hdc, 1 sc, 1 sl, 1 sl.

Fasten off and make another leave. Sew the leaves onto the end of the lemon, beside the tip.
