1. Body

Start at the bottom part of the body.

Cast on 16 sts with white.

1. k16

2. 8 x (k1, kfb) (= 24 sts)

3. k24

4. 8 x (k1, kfb, k1) (= 32 sts)

5. k32

6. 8 x (k2, kfb, k1) (= 40 sts)

7. - 17. g st

18. 8 x (k2, k2tog, k1) (= 32 sts)

19. - 23. g st

24. 8 x (k1, k2tog, k1) (= 24 sts)

25. - 27. g st

28. 8 x (k1, k2tog) (= 16 sts)

29. k16

Bind off all sts k-wise.

Work a gathering thread through every st along the base edge and draw up tightly. Join seam with a mattress stitch. Stuff the body.
2. Head

Start at the top part of the head.

Cast on 16 sts with white.

1. k16

2. 8 x (k1, kfb) (= 24 sts)

3. k24

4. 8 x (k1, kfb, k1) (= 32 sts)

5. k32

6. 8 x (k2, kfb, k1) (= 40 sts)

7. k40

8. 8 x (k2, kfb, k2) (= 48 sts)

9. - 17. g st

18. 8 x (k2, k2tog, k2) (= 40 sts)

Continue with brown.

20. 8 x (k2, kfb, k2) (= 48 sts)

21. - 29. st st

30. 8 x (k2, k2tog, k2) (= 40 sts)

31. p40

32. 8 x (k2, k2tog, k1) (= 32 sts)

33. p32

34. 8 x (k1, k2tog, k1) (= 24 sts)

35. p24

36. 8 x (k1, k2tog) (= 16 sts)

37. p16

38. 8 x (k2tog) (= 8 sts)

Break yarn and draw tightly through the remaining 8 sts.

Join seam. Attach the safety eyes at row 21 with 8 sts between them. When you place the eyes, make sure that the seam is at the back of the head. Stuff the head.

Work a gathering thread through every st along the top part of the head and draw up tightly. Weave in the end. Embroider with white a nose at row 18 - 22.

Sew the head onto the body (use the pictures as a guide).
3. Tail

Cast on 12 sts with white.

1. - 4. st st, start with a knit row.

5. 6 x (k2tog) (= 6 sts)

Break yarn and draw tightly through the remaining 6 sts.

Join seam and sew the tail onto the body at row 9 - 14.
4. Legs

Start at the upper part of the leg.

Cast on 16 sts with white.

1. - 15. g st

16. 4 x (k2, kfb, k1) (= 20 sts)

17. k20

18. 4 x (k2, kfb, k2) (= 24 sts)

19. - 23. k24

Continue with brown.

24. - 26. st st, start with a knit row.

27. k24 at the wrong side of your work.

28. 8 x (k1, k2tog) (= 16 sts)

29. p16

30. 8 x (k2tog) (= 8 sts)

Break yarn and draw tightly through the remaining 8 sts. Join seam with a mattress stitch. Knit 3 more legs. Stuff 2 legs completely, these are the hind legs. Fold the edges and sew them together. Sew the hind legs onto the side of the body.

Stuff the front legs for two-thirds, the top part remains empty. Fold the edges and sew them together. Sew the front legs onto the body, just below the head. Use the pictures as a guide.
5. Inner ear

Cast on 6 sts with brown.

1. p6

2. kfb, k4, kfb (= 8 sts)

3. p8

4. kfb, k6, kfb (= 10 sts)

5. - 9. st st

10. k2tog, k6, k2tog (= 8 sts)

11. - 13. st st

Bind off.
6. Outer Ear

Cast on 10 sts with white.

1. p10

2. kfb, k8, kfb (= 12 sts)

3. p12

4. kfb, k10, kfb (= 14 sts)

5. - 9. st st

10. k2tog, k10, k2tog (= 12 sts)

11. - 13. st st

Bind off.

Lay both parts on top of each other with the right sides facing outwards and sew them together with a mattress stitch. Fold the bottom edge together and secure with a few sts.

Knit another ear and sew the ears onto the side of the head at row 18.
