1. Legs

Ch 2 with light pink or start with a magic ring.

1. 6 sc in the 1st ch or in the magic ring, 1 sl in the 1st sc (= 6 sc)

2. to 5. 6 sc, continue with grey.

6. 2 sc in each sc (= 12 sc)

7. - 9. 12 sc

Fasten off.

Crochet another leg in the same way, but don't fasten off now. Ch 2 with grey and attach with 1 sl to the 1st leg. This sl doesn't count as a stitch.
2. Body

10. Continue crocheting in the 1st leg: 1 sc in each sc, then crochet into the 2nd leg: 1 sc in each sc. In total, your round now has 24 sc.

11. - 23. 24 sc

24. Crochet every 7th and 8th st together (= 21 sc)

25. 3 x (sc 2 st together, 1 sc), 12 sc (= 18 sc)

26. 3 x (sc 2 st together), 12 sc (= 15 sc)

End with 1 sl and fasten off. Leave a long yarn hanging to sew the head onto the body later.

Stuff the body.
3. Head

Ch 2 with grey or start with a magic ring.

Stuff the head.

Sew the head onto the body, ensuring the back of the head is parallel with the back of the body (see photo). The decreases from rounds 12 to 16 point downwards.

Embroider a nose and mouth with pink, using the photos as a guide for placement.

Embroider the beads for the eyes between rounds 9 and 10, leaving 4 stitches free between the eyes. Sew the eyes first in the correct place, then insert the needle from one eye to the other and pull the yarn tight so the head indents slightly, repeat this once more and secure the yarn. Weave in the end to the inside.
4. Ears (2x)

Inner ear

Ch 2 with pink or start with a magic ring.

1. 6 sc in the 1st ch or in the magic ring, 1 sl in the 1st sc (= 6 sc)

Fasten off.

Outer ear

Ch 2 with grey or start with a magic ring.

1. 6 sc in the 1st ch or in the magic ring, 1 sl in the 1st sc (= 6 sc)

2. 2 sc in every 2nd sc (= 9 sc)

3. 2 sc in every 3rd sc (= 12 sc)

Fasten off.

Sew the inner ear into the outer ear.

Sew the ears between rounds 5 and 6, leaving 4 stitches free between the ears.

Weave in all the ends inside.
5. Arms (2x)

Ch 2 with pink or start with a magic ring.

1. 6 sc in the 1st ch or in the magic ring, 1 sl in the 1st sc (= 6 sc)

2. - 4. 6 sc

Continue with grey.

5. 2 sc in every 2nd sc (= 9 sc)

6. - 14. 9 sc

Do not stuff the arm.

Press the edges together and close the arm with 4 sc.

Fasten off.

Sew the arms to each side of the body at the level of round 26.
6. Tail

Ch 2 with grey or start with a magic ring.

1. 5 sc in the 1st ch or in the magic ring, 1 sl in the 1st sc (= 5 sc)

2. - 18. 5 sc

Fasten off.

Sew the tail onto the body at round 15.
7. Jumper

Sam's jumper is crocheted in back and forth rows. The jumper is crocheted in several parts, see image.

Part 1

Ch 15 in blue.

1. Crochet 1 sc in each ch starting from the 2nd ch from the hook (= 14 sc)

2. - 11. 14 sc, ch 1 after each row and turn around.

Part 2

1. 3 sc, ch 5 (leave the rest of the stitches unworked)

2. Crochet 1 sc in each stitch starting from the 2nd sc from the hook. (= 7 sc)

3. - 11. 7 sc, ch 1 after each row and turn.

Fasten off.

You now attach the yarn in the last stitch of row 11 of part 1. From here you crochet part 3.

1. 3 sc, ch 5

2. Crochet 1 sc in each stitch starting from the 2nd sc from the hook. (= 7 sc)

3. - 11. 7 sc, ch 1 after each row and turn.

Fasten off.

You will now crochet the sleeves (part 4 and 5) along the sides. Attach the yarn again at the level of row 6 of part 1.

1. Crochet 12 sc along the side (1 sc in each end of a row)

Repeat this on the other side of part 1 for the other sleeve.

Fold your work in half and sew the sides of your jumper closed according to the instructions in the image.
